Second round of parliamentary elections in Iran
Iranian officials chat while they wait next to a ballot box in the second round of parliamentary elections at a polling station in Tehran, Iran on April 25, 2008. In the second round, 164 candidates compete for the remaining 82 seats, including 11 for the politically important Tehran constituency. Almost 44 million Iranians over the age of 18 are eligible to vote but turnout is expected to be much lower than the almost 51 per cent in the first round. (UPI Photo/Mohammad Kheirkhah)
