RONALD REAGAN'S FIRST JOB AS A SPORTS BROADCASTER
After finishing his education at Eureka College, Ronald Reagan began his career as a sports broadcaster on WHO Radio in Des Moines, Iowa. He is seen here in this file photo taken in the mid-1930's. There he would broadcast Chicago Cubs' ball games based on telegraph reports from Wrigley Field. Reagan, the 40th President of the United States of America, was instrumental in bringing about the collapse of communism and an end to the Cold War. The former President is now 92 and has been suffering from alzheimer's for over ten years. (UPI/File)
