Local artist Hijack's COVID-19 mural in Los Angeles
In this mural, a duo goes COVID-19 busting, armed with hand sanitizer, a vacuum cleaner, and lots of toilet paper in Los Angeles on Sunday, April 19, 2020. Illustrated by local artist Hijack, the mural depicts two-soldiers fending off the coronavirus wearing Hazmat suits with a feather duster, Windex, hand sanitizer and a vacuum bearing a "No Covid-19" symbol. Hijack said, "I'm being told 'it feels like we're in wartime,' so I also wanted to add that element to the piece." Photo by Jim Ruymen/UPI
